A pendulum moving between past and future. A candle marked with the hours -- or a quasar -- seen  between two mirrors reflecting eternity. The reflected lasers that measure the speed of light, and the passage of time. The fires that mark, and bless boundaries.  Fire and motion as mark and measure of Space and Time. The dance is measured.
